The Delegate/Ambassador Program utilizes volunteer Delegates/Ambassadors from congregations to help communicate information and needs. The Bethany Life Foundation Board appreciates its Delegates/Ambassadors from each of BLC's 25 member congregations. In addition, Delegates/Ambassadors from non-member congregations are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Delegate/Ambassador Program. There is a guidebook available for Delegates/Ambassadors. The purpose of the program is to help "build a bridge of two-way communication" between Bethany Life Communities and congregations.
The Delegate/Ambassador Program has a twofold purpose:
I. To help people find the answers they need when the time comes to consider a new phase in life for themselves or people they know.
2. To spread the word within the churches concerning Bethany Life Communities and to encourage ongoing prayer, volunteer and financial support.
Delegates/Ambassadors will bring news to their fellow church members from Bethany Life Communities. And they will assist in finding answers to questions about long-term care or senior housing options at Bethany Life Communities in Story City. If they do not know the answers, they will connect the people who ask with those who are equipped to answer.
Current Delegate/Ambassadors:
Connie and Al Bergman - Gilbert (Gilbert)
Judy and Gary Hested - Immanuel (Story City)
John and Lannie Hill - Bethesda (Ames)
Dr. Robert Nervig - Palestine (Huxley)
Richard Snyder - Fjeldberg (Huxley)
Marc and Michelle Soderstrum - Bergen (Roland)
Jeanette Tjelmeland - Bethany (McCallsburg)
