Our Foundation staff is now accepting items for resale and auction. If you have items which you would like to donate, you may call our Foundation office to arrange a time to deliver the item or, if necessary, to have the item picked up at your home or office.

  
  We are asking for gift items that are in "good or better condition." We may not be able to accept some items, but we appreciate you thinking of Bethany. The following is a list of items to donate:

  • Tools
  • Furniture
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Woodworking
  • Vehicles
  • Bicycles
  • Farm Products
  • Collectibles
  • Toys
  • Antiques
  • Technology
  
 

The funds that Bethany Life Communities receives from the resale or auction of the items donated will go to the "Good Samaritan Fund," which supports our residents who are unable to pay for the full cost of their healthcare.

Your donations are fully tax deductible per Iowa and Federal law. You will receive a receipt for your gift.

Auction dates will be publicized in the local paper and listed on this website. With your permission, you will be recognized at the auction for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
