Bethany Manor has the highest of standards in providing care to those of age. This personal care is given while striving to maintain dignity.
As part of the continuum of care at Bethany Life Communities, Bethany Manor proudly provides excellent nursing and skilled nursing services.
Residents who require consistent daily care depend on the services we provide in our nursing facility. They are typically limited in their ability to perform many daily activities: toileting, bathing, feeding, grooming, dressing or ambulating. Nurses administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the doctor. |

The goal of our skilled care nursing services is to provide residents with the opportunity to rehabilitate and return to their homes. However, some choose to remain at Bethany Manor despite having completed their skilled care programs. Because skilled care is interspersed throughout the Nursing Care Facility, the transition is relatively easy.
We also have staff specially trained to care for those with Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia. Bethany Manor offers two memory care units to serve our residents with more progressed dementia.

We strongly believe in a philosophy called the "Eden Alternative". This philosophy incorporates children, plants and animals into daily living. The Eden Alternative recognizes that the true plague of the elderly is not aging and disease, rather it is loneliness, helplessness, and boredom. By incorporating the natural spontaneity and variety that animals and children add to an environment, and by encouraging and supporting relationships amongst the staff, residents, and family – we can better make our community a "home." Our Activities Department provides opportunities for socialization, entertainment, and activities.

Our focus at Bethany Manor is on "person-centered care." We want our staff, residents, and families to feel like they are part of something special. By breaking down each large nursing area into smaller units, we are able to create a unique "neighborhood" atmosphere. The workers, residents and visitors within each neighborhood are encouraged to participate in decision-making and problem-solving. All staff, regardless of job description, are encouraged to really get to know the residents they care for and serve in order to better anticipate and meet their needs.

We value quality caregivers and strive to foster personal growth and teamwork. We have implemented an initiative called "Continuous Quality Improvement". After training, groups of employees are designated to improve upon processes that will ultimately improve the lives of the residents of Bethany Manor.
