The Iowa Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA) is composed of nursing homes, residential care and assisted living facilities, continuing care and life care retirement communities, senior housing and other service providers in the field of long-term care.

The American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) consists of more than 5600 not-for-profit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and senior housing facilities and community service organizations. More than half of AAHSA's member organizations are religiously sponsored. Every day AAHSA members serve more than one million older persons across the country.
