Independent and Assisted Living Cedar Place, located in Story City, Iowa, offers affordable housing options for residents by providing independent living and assisted living apartments for those who want the security and convenience of congregate living. Housing at Cedar Place is subsidized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Living arrangements are available to those who meet HUD criteria for financial and age requirements. Convenient Location Cedar Place is professionally managed, well maintained and located near businesses for shopping and convenience. A service coordinator is located onsite to help tenants access resources they may need. Updated Living Units In total, Cedar Place has 50 apartments, 22 of which are assisted living units and 28 are independent living units. The assisted living units have been beautifully renovated within the last five years. |

The tenants of Cedar Place will be reassured in knowing the community has the ability to assist residents if they become sick or hurt with as little disruption as possible. All Cedar Place tenants receive priority access to our continuum of wide services. Accessible Accommodations With 22 assisted living apartments, Cedar Place is well equipped with special amenities including walk-in showers and wider doorways. Tenants may select from three different levels of services to meet their needs. |

Christian Environment As a part of a faith-based organization, Cedar Place believes in providing a Christian environment of hope and compassion. A chaplain is available to offer tenants spiritual care and to help them thrive. For our Residents Safety, comfort and well-being are foremost at Cedar Place. Limited access, well-lighted parking, well-stocked libraries, community rooms and outdoor living patio spaces are designed for living pleasure. Fire alarms and emergency pull cords are located in every apartment. |
