Affordables Purchases Wheelchair Accessible Van

The Bethany Life thrift store, Affordables, recently donated $30,200 to purchase a new wheelchair accessible van for the Households of Bethany nursing home in Story City, IA.  Betsy Warburton, CEO of Bethany Life thanked the volunteers who work at Affordables for their commitment to the Bethany Life mission and in providing this terrific gift.

Denice Reisetter, Affordables store manager commented that, “We have over 25 volunteers that spend thousands of hours each year working in the store.  We could not provide the support we do without their hard work.  We are very grateful.”

Affordables is celebrating it’s 12th year of operation and is located at 630 Pennsylvania, Story City, IA.  The store sells both donated and new furniture, household goods/decor, clothing, books, jewelry, sporting goods and much more.  Affordables is a part of the work of the Bethany Life Foundation.  To volunteer at Affordables contact Denice at 515-733-5304.
