Caresse
The Tunstall Caresse and Caresse+ are the very latest in
personal emergency response systems (PERS).
Manufactured by Tunstall, the World's leading provider of
PERS and telecare solutions, they are specifically designed
to protect people living in their own homes or in
independent and assisted living facilities.
Equipped with an Amie pendant, the units can raise an
alarm call from anywhere in the home by simply pressing
the pendant or the large red button on the Caresse. Calls
are immediately sent to either a professional 24 hour
monitoring center or to a care provider, where the
appropriate action can be taken.
Amie+ Pendant
The Amie + pendant is a discreet personal trigger. Its attractive design and choice of fastening options make it a pleasure to wear.
It comes complete with a neck cord and clothing clip which will clip to any type or thickness of material. It may also be worn with an optional wrist strap.
An easy press adaptor is also available to enable people with extremely limited dexterity to raise a call more easily.
CookStop
This versatile device for independence reduces potential
risks in the kitchen with electric stoves or cooktops.
When the stove or cooktop is first turned on, the
CookStop is activated. CookStop is so smart, its builtin
motion detector knows if the resident leaves the
kitchen, and shuts off the stove or cooktop. As long as
the resident stays in the kitchen, the CookStop will not
turn off the stove or cooktop.
Fall Detector
The Fall Detector is a unique persoanl device. It provides reliable detection of a potentially serious fall by the wearer and then triggers a call for help via a Tunstall Telecom personal emergency response unit. The device is attractively styled whilst being small and light enough to be worn unobtrusively.
Flood Detector
The flood detector is a near, unobtrusive radio sensor that provides an early warning of potential floor situations. The unit can be placed on the floors under a sink or in a bathroom, next to the toilet or near the bath.
The floor detector has three sensors. When two of the sensors make contact with water, it provides two types of alarm - the first is a local audible alarm and the second sends a signal to a Tunstall Telecom or Caresse unit. The unit automatically raises a call to the monitoring centre withere the operator can identify which type of detector has initialted the call, allowing the most appropriate and immediate action to be taken.
Temperature Extremes Detector
This sensor, placed near a cooking area can
help detect extreme heat before it becomes
dangerous. The same unit can detect
temperature extremes caused by defective
heating and cooling systems in the home.
