Ways To Give
The Bethany Life Foundation accepts gifts of cash, property, securities and in-kind gifts throughout the year through a variety of gifting opportunities. Our Foundation also manages the Affordables Thrift Store in Story City where all merchandise is donated, with volunteers operating the day to day business. Finally, the Foundation facilitates several special events throughout the year for the community to enjoy and in providing funds for designated purposes.
The Foundation has five annual gifting levels. Donors are recognized on the “Our Good Samaritans” recognition wall within Bethany Manor. The gifting levels include;
Humanitarian Level $5000+
Benefactor Level $2500--$4999
Leadership Level $1000--$2499
Stewardship Level $500--$999
Friend of Bethany Level $100-$499
Planned Giving Opportunities
The Bethany Life Foundation works closely with individuals and families who wish to plan a gift through their estates. Our Foundation also partners with the ELCA Foundation in providing expertise in particular estate gifting strategies.

Individuals who wish to pledge a gift to the Foundation and would like to pay on a monthly or quarterly basis may do so through the Foundation’s “EasyGive” program.
