Choosing a retirement community is a significant decision, so it is imperative to stay informed. There are differences between for profit organizations and non-profit organizations. At Bethany Life, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All money given above operating cost is reinvested back into our programs and facilities. We do what we do as a service to our residents, not to respond to the wants and needs of investors and owners. At Bethany Life, you will also see:
Higher staffing levels than most for-profit facilities.
A commitment to serving our residents, regardless of financial status.
A dedication to investing in our programs and facilities.
While we desire to act as good stewards of the money that we are given, we are also dedicated to making the tools to be successful readily available to our staff and residents. Our top priority is that our dollars are poured directly back into caring for our residents.
The mission of Bethany Life Community Engagement is to inspire, empower, and support Bethany Life in its role as the region’s leading provider and advocate for exceptional aging services.
Carlson Café was made possible through the generosity of Dr. Nancy Carlson and her sister, who kindly donated funds to help renovate our former bistro into the welcoming café it is today. Both have meaningful history with Bethany, making their gift especially significant to our community.
Their generosity allowed us to expand what we offer and create a space that brings people together. Today, Carlson Café serves our residents, their families, Bethany staff, and members of the greater community. It is more than a place to grab a meal or a cup of coffee. It is a place to gather, connect, and feel at home.
We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Carlson and her sister for investing in Bethany and helping create a space that can be enjoyed by so many.
Sapper is currently in training to become an emotional support dog at Bethany Life. Her future role will focus on providing comfort, companionship, and meaningful connection for residents and tenants throughout our community.
Sapper’s presence at Bethany Life was made possible through the generosity of a contributor who recognized the positive impact an emotional support dog can have on the lives of those we serve. This thoughtful gift is another example of how donor support can create meaningful opportunities that enhance quality of life and bring comfort and connection to our community.
